A public hearing on the proposed amendments will be held on May 24, 2010, at 7:00 p.m.at the Straban Township Office, to receive public comment on the proposal.

The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the amendments at its meeting to be held on June 7, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at the Straban Township Office.

VIDA CHARTER SCHOOL – in regards to property located at 248 Hunterstown Road, Gettysburg in the Residential – Low Density District. The proposed use of the property is for a Public Charter School. Applicant is seeking a Special Exception as provided under the provisions of Sections 140-8B and 140-18A of the Zoning Ordinance.

The Straban Township office will not be open on Fridays.  Normal office hours will continue Monday – Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm

This schedule is for the Straban Twp. residents of Twin Oaks and Hazelbrook Hills.  Leaf pickup will occur on the following Mondays – October 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and December 7.  All leaves are to be put in plastic bags and placed by the street curb.  Any other resident of Straban Township wishing to have their leaves picked up must contact the office at 334-4833.
