NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
(ROADWAY SUFFICIENCY ANALYSIS AND TRANSPORTATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN) AND PROPOSED ORDINANCE

The Straban Township, Adams County, PA Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 1745 Granite Station Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the hearing shall be to gather public comment concerning the proposed Roadway Sufficiency Analysis and Transportation Capital Improvement Plan for the implementation of impact fees or transportation improvements in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code Act of 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended (53 P.A. 10101 est seq.). All those wishing to be heard on the application must appear at hearing at the aforesaid time and place.

The Straban Township Board of Supervisors may adopt amendments to the Traffic Impact Fee Ordinance on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 1745 Granite Station Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, summarized as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF STRABAN TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING ARTICLE I (TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS) OF CHAPTER 81 (IMPACT FEES) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADOPT REVISIONS TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN AND IMPACT FEES CHARGED IN THE VARIOUS TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS IN ACCORD WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE TRANSPORTATION IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
Section 1. Amends Section 81-6 (Uses) to reference the revised Transportation Capital Improvements Plan.
Section 2. Amends Section 81-7 (Documents adopted by the Board of Supervisors) to reference revisions to various documents.
Section 3. Amends Section 81-10 (Imposition of impact fee) to set revised fees.
Section 4. Amends Section 81-13 (Establishment of transportation service areas) to reference revised Exhibit A.
Section 5. Savings clause.
Section 6. Repealer.
Section 7. Severability.
Section 8. Effective date.

Copies of the proposed Ordinance and the Roadway Sufficiency Analysis and Transportation Capital Improvement Plan shall be available for public inspection and may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge no greater than the cost thereof from the Straban Township Office, 1745 Granite Station Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
